Account Manager
Our client is an independent investment platform offering execution, custody, and depositary services to private and institutional clients from across the world. We are seeking an Account Manager to join the team on-site in Valletta, Malta. This role is local only and does not support relocation. You will be the trusted link between our client and a diverse group of clients, helping them unlock the value of our products and services while maintaining the highest standards of service and integrity.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, handling complex queries and account set-ups.
- Manage a portfolio of clients, ranging from individuals to entities with sophisticated structures.
- Monitor the status and progress of client accounts, build strong relationships, and drive value for clients.
- Identify opportunities for upsell and cross-sell of products and services to existing clients.
- Address issues, queries, or instructions, and coordinate with Middle Office, Operations, Compliance, Finance, banks, and payment providers.
- Adhere to clients’ and associates’ policies and compliance procedures.
- Collaborate with Business Development and Account Management to review sales performance data and metrics.
- Support and train team members on managing complex accounts to raise overall capability.
- Remain abreast of industry trends and the evolving regulatory landscape.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years in Account Management or a related field; Education: First degree in Finance, Business Administration or a related field.
