Chief Product & Technology Officer

Join our client, a leader delivering end-to-end lottery operation solutions with go-to-market strategy, retail network development, and a responsible product portfolio, as Chief Product & Technology Officer. This Malta-based, hybrid role brings together product and technology under one leadership to shape strategy, delivery, and responsible gaming across sportsbook, iGaming, and casino offerings.

In this Chief Product & Technology Officer role, you will align business goals with technical delivery, build strong teams, and partner with stakeholders to grow a diversified portfolio.

Responsibilities

• Lead the combined product and technology strategy, roadmaps, and delivery across sportsbook, iGaming, and casino offerings.
• Drive platform architecture, data strategy, security, privacy, risk controls, and regulatory compliance.
• Build and mentor cross-functional teams, foster collaboration across product, engineering, design, data, and security, and manage external partners.
• Shape go-to-market plans in collaboration with business leaders, retail network teams, and marketing, ensuring responsible gaming practices.
• Balance growth with governance, risk management, and operational excellence while embracing innovation, including Crypto/Web3 opportunities.

Requirements

• Senior leadership experience in product and technology (CPO/CTO) with a background in online gaming, ideally spanning sportsbook, iGaming, and casino.
• Ability to unite product and technology under a single strategy, delivering customer value while meeting compliance and security standards.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with a collaborative, inclusive leadership style.
• Experience operating in Malta or readiness to work in a Malta-based, hybrid environment.
• Interest or experience in Crypto, Web3, or related emerging tech is a plus.
