Director of Operations

You will lead a global, remote effort to build and scale the operational backbone for our client’s entertainment-first, AI-native, creator-powered casino. This remote, global role handles payments, crypto, risk, compliance, and customer support as the business moves toward a rapid global launch. You’ll shape processes, recruit and mentor teams, and partner with the CEO, CTO, CMO, and Head of Product to deliver a compliant, high‑performance operation that supports creator‑driven traffic, peak gaming moments, and responsible play.

• Responsibilities
  • Build and optimize operational systems: payments, crypto, fraud, KYC/AML, support, VIP ops, responsible gaming, withdrawal flows, and creator operations.
  • Implement SOPs, workflows, dashboards, and incident protocols; ensure readiness for new features, global rollouts, creator campaigns, missions, and high-traffic moments.
  • Provide regulatory, legal, and compliance leadership; define what is legal and compliant for campaigns and messaging across regions; review product features and marketing claims.
  • Manage risk, fraud, AML, and exposure for casino and sportsbook; set limits on bets and jackpots; monitor payout ratios and risk signals.
  • Oversee payments and crypto operations; manage PSPs, reconciliations, withdrawals, chargebacks, and payout policies.
  • Lead scaling and cross‑functional collaboration; align with AI‑driven personalization, loyalty, and VIP funnels; partner with the CEO, CTO, CMO, and Head of Product.
  • Build and grow teams across Operations, Payments, Risk, Fraud, AML/KYC, Support, and VIP Ops; foster a culture of agility, ownership, speed, and accountability.
• Requirements
  • Senior operations leadership in casino, sportsbook, crypto gaming, or sweepstakes.
  • Expertise in KYC/AML, fraud, compliance, risk, casino and sportsbook exposure, payments, and crypto custody.
  • Hands‑on experience with risk, identity, and crypto tools such as Greco, Seon, GeoComply, ShuftiPro/SumSub, Fireblocks, Level1, and Chainalysis/TRM.
  • Experience scaling startups or high‑growth operators; understanding of Gen Z behavior, entertainment UX, and creator‑driven acquisition.
  • Highly structured, analytical, hands‑on, proactive, and calm under pressure; able to make high‑stakes decisions quickly.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication; comfortable in fast‑paced, culturally diverse environments.
  • Comfortable working in a globally remote team and across multiple time zones.
