IT Support Specalist
Our client is the ultimate online crypto casino, built by experienced players who know what real gamblers want. You will join as an IT Support Specialist in Malta on a hybrid basis, strengthening and improving internal IT operations and ensuring colleagues have the devices, software, and support they need to work effectively.
This hands-on role covers IT support, hardware and software management, security, and IT governance. You will help build structured IT processes, maintain strong relationships with employees and external IT suppliers, and safeguard our systems.
You will work across several key areas, including hardware and asset management, software licensing, governance, and security.
- Hardware & Asset Management
- Maintain an accurate inventory of all company hardware and IT assets.
- Ensure devices are tagged, registered, tracked, and managed throughout their lifecycle.
- Support onboarding and offboarding, including laptop provisioning and configuration.
- Help establish standardised hardware processes.
- Software & Licence Management
- Maintain an accurate inventory of installed software and licences.
- Monitor usage, identify duplication, and manage licensing risks and renewals.
- Support software procurement, renewals, and licence management.
- Help establish and maintain an approved software list.
- IT Governance & Business Support
- Work with business units to understand their technology needs.
- Help assign ownership of applications, budgets, and renewals.
- Ensure purchases follow IT policies and approval processes.
- Act as a point of contact between employees, units, and external IT suppliers.
- Security & Supply Chain
- Support secure, standardised laptop builds for new employees.
- Ensure devices and software meet internal security requirements.
- Maintain secure IT practices across the organisation.
- Work with approved hardware and software suppliers.
- Requirements
- Previous experience in IT Support, IT Administration, Service Desk, or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of hardware, software, operating systems, and common workplace IT tools.
- Experience with hardware/asset management and software/licence management.
- Good understanding of IT security best practices.
- Experience supporting employee onboarding and offboarding.
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
- Good English communication skills.
