Legal Counsel/Lawyer
You will join our client, a fast-moving digital marketing agency serving gaming and entertainment brands. The role is Legal Counsel / Lawyer, fully remote across LATAM, with preferred time zones in Mexico, Colombia, or Peru. You’ll work closely with Marketing, BD, Talent, Finance, and Leadership to turn legal risk into practical business decisions. - Draft, review, negotiate, and manage commercial and marketing agreements, including influencer, talent, creator contracts, sponsorships, brand partnerships, media and advertising, service, vendor, and NDA agreements.
- Partner with Marketing, BD, and Talent teams, advising on contract structure, risk assessment, termination rights, liability, and dispute prevention.
- Own the full contract lifecycle: intake, negotiation, execution, amendments, renewals, and archiving.
- Identify risks early and design practical mitigation strategies that protect the business without slowing campaigns.
- Support regulatory and compliance topics, including iGaming matters, coordinating with external counsel when needed.
- Collaborate with Finance and Leadership to ensure contracts align with payments, deliverables, and operational reality.
- Build and maintain a clean legal infrastructure—templates, repositories, and internal documentation.
- Support dispute resolution with a focus on speed and risk containment.
- Monitor changes in commercial law and translate them into practical guidance and concise summaries for decision-makers.
- Prepare concise legal summaries and memos focusing on options, impact, and decisions.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in a legal role with strong exposure to commercial and contract law.
- Proven experience drafting and negotiating influencer, talent, sponsorship, or marketing agreements.
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) or equivalent.
- Strong professional English (written and spoken).
- High attention to detail with sound, independent judgment.
- Clear, confident communicator, comfortable working with non-legal stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- Ownership mindset, professionalism, integrity, and discretion.
- Nice to have: experience in iGaming, digital entertainment, media, or creator platforms.
- Nice to have: exposure to remote, international, or cross-border teams.
- Familiarity with contract management or legal operations tools.
